Party For A Cause - A Benefit for the Los Angeles Regional Food Bank

Founded in a two-car garage in 1973 by Tony Collier, the Los Angeles Regional Food Bank services 640 agencies at over 1000 sites that include battered women’s shelters, abandoned & abused children’s homes, soup kitchens, AIDS hospices, senior centres, and more. In addition to providing daily help to these agencies that serve thousands of people a day, the Los Angeles Regional Food Bank also assists in keeping aid flowing during natural disasters.

The Speel iT Show, created by Calvin Brownlee and Bamm Ericson, is an LA-area internet-based talk show that focuses on a vast array of topics such as news, current affairs, relationships, health issues, religion, entertainment and more during its daily call-in show. Described as “The View meets MadTV”, the show is infused with celebrity interviews, guest commentaries, and comedy skits.

The Speel iT Show has partnered with several sponsors to present Party For A Cause: A Black Tie Benefit for the Los Angeles Regional Food Bank.

Hosted by KJLH 102.3 FM’s Spicy Mari, and headlined by American Idol Finalist Ashton Jones, the celebrity guest list is teeming with Grammy winning artists, such as Faith Evans, Delicious Kennedy (All-4-One), Ms. Monet, as well as several other celebrity guests, including America’s Wealth Advisor Mark Kennedy, renowned actress Anna Maria Horsford, and many more!

Ticket-holders will enjoy a star-studded concert, a three course meal and cocktails alongside several celebrity guests, and have the opportunity to participate in a silent auction.

The benefit is being held on June 1, 2012, 7:00 PM, at the Brandview Ballroom, 109 East Harvard Street, in Glendale, CA.
